my dream wedding

i already have my wedding all planned out! to some extent...

i want to have my wedding at the Powell Crosley Estate in Sarasota, Florida.

this might be difficult because it isn't anywhere near where i live. i might reconsider having a destination wedding because i want all of my relatives to be there. a destination wedding is when you travel to your wedding location and all of your family members can come too. it can be hard for family members to get off work, travel with whole families, little cousins or siblings to miss school, or elderly to travel. but on the plus side, these locations are often very beautiful and special, and it is always something to remember!

i dont have my bridesmaids in mind because i know i will meet new people and make new friends by the time i get married!

something special about my wedding that i want to do is have my dogs walk down the isle! i dont have any dogs right now but i definitely want to get a few when i'm older. they are going to have colored balloons tied to their collars as they walk down the isle.

the colors of my wedding will be silver and navy. the only question is whether this "matches" the colors of the location... i have thought about having it on cape cod on the beach because i think the colors go well with the beach.

this is how i want to wear my hair for the wedding. my bridesmaids will each wear their hair in a different type of up-do of their choice. these are a pictures of couple that i like.

of all the pictures of dresses i've seen, this is my favorite. i know that when i'm older my taste and preferences will probably change. the belt could be silver and the glittery lace part could be more silver than creme colored. i think the bridesmaids will wear short navy dresses will silver detailing along the neckline. the flower girl will wear white with a navy belt, something like this:

i think it will be a night wedding with lots of guests. i want the wedding to be outside, maybe under a gazebo, and the reception to be under a tent. i want the tables to have silver table cloths and navy and white flower centerpieces, and i want my bouquet to be navy and white, like the centerpeices.

the chairs will be silver and there will be white cloth draped down the isle. the flower girl will carry navy petals. at the end of the wedding there will be bubbles! after the reception there will be fireworks!

i have no idea about the food. it will depend on who's catering the wedding, and whether or not there will be vegetarian guests or guests with dietary restrictions in attendance! i would like the cake to be vanilla with strawberries, but with white frosting and silver flowers! several tiers too.

as you can see i have a lot more to plan... music, guests, food, and even more! but this is the start to what i think is going to be the most important night of my life!
